Note it is very slow recently. Chat line also down. Anybody else experiencing this?

Could you provide more information on the issues you are experiencing with your internet connection?
What kind of speed test results are you seeing from your connection?
Try http://www.speedtest.net and http://speedtest.shaw.ca/:
Are you using a wireless connection or are you plugged directly to a modem or router via an ethernet cable?
Which internet speed package do you subscribe to?
What are you doing when you notice a slow connection? Loading websites for example, streaming video, downloading, etc.
This will help us get a better idea of the issue at hand.
Mine took a dump in the last couple days as well. I run Broadband 250 yet I'm getting broadband 50 download speeds, 120ms ping (6 times normal) and my normal 12mb/s upload (which is about normal.)
No amount of internet activity is going to choke down that internet connection... and clearly I'm not the only one.

Issues may differ from area to area, so it is hard to say what you are experiencing in Okotoks is related to what the original poster of this thread is experiencing, unless of course they also happen to live in Okotoks. I would be happy to look in to the speed issues you are experiencing.

Just thought I'd put it out here as well that speeds seem to be up again on my main machines- it looks like it may be an internal issue with my network that's causing the poor performance on my other peripheral systems.
