Are you saying that your TV is still on the input for your Wii? If so, you can use the Input or Source button (usually what it's called) on your TV itself to switch back to the input for your cable box, if that's what you're trying to do.
Let me know if you need any more help though.
I totally didn't mean to sent that out, lol what i meant is i was told by service man that i could plug my wii directly into pvr instead of tv to watch netflix. I have done this but i can't for the life of me find the wii on tv remote or on tv for that matter to find netflix, lol loaded question...... frustrating. thanks
Ah okay, I figured something was off by your question being cut off there
Still though, I'm not 100% sure of what you want to do. Usually, you need to have everything plugged into separate inputs in your TV. So your cable box can be on HDMI1 for example, while your Wii can be on HDMI2. If you have a receiver, it's the same deal: you connect the PVR, your Wii and anything else to separate inputs. Then you switch inputs to switch between devices.
If you could give me some more information, I can probably help further.
thank you so much Matt, i will just hook wii back up to tv, and adjust settings for the darkness, weird that i was told to hook it directly up to pvr, but it doesn't really matter, lol was going a little crazy here, also the video source button bottom lft hand side of remote doesn't doe anything, or I am more than likely using it wrong, lol. thanks again!
For sure, no trouble
Actually for the Video Source button to work on the Shaw remote, the remote would need to be programmed to control your TV set (www.urcsupport.com/shaw can help you with that). You could use your original TV remote to change the input as well.
