Hello, i just got my phone hooked up the other day to a wireless adapter and i just finished moving around my living room i just unplugged it and plugged in across the room now i have no dial tone.... can you please tell me how to fix it
Sorry, but I'm not quite sure I understand the situation there. You mention a wireless adapter for your phone? If you try some of the steps listed here, do they help at all?
If you can describe your setup a little bit better with the wireless adapter and you Shaw Phone service, we might be able to figure out what is going on for you.
my phone is connected to the digital phone terminal...... i was moving my living room around and needed to move the phone so i unplugged the digital phone terminal and the telephone from the wall and switched it to a different wall plug in. Now i have no dial tone. I tried unplugging the power cord from the back of the terminal for 30 sec and plugged it back in then i waited for all the green lights to turn back on and once they did i checked for a dial tone... still nothing.
If I understand correctly, it sounds like you have moved your phone terminal and connected the phone cord from the terminal to a different phone wall outlet. It's possible that the phone outlet you moved your terminal to is not activate right now. We can of course have a technician check this outlet but I'm sure you'd like to get your phone working again immediately. Can you try moving you phone terminal back to its original location for now and let me know if your phone works again that way? If it does we can then look into having a technician out to check on that outlet.
k no thats not working and i just tried every plug in the green light that is supposed to stay on the tele line 1 and 2 just keep flashing back and forth and wont give me a dial tone i dont know whats wrong with it
Can you send someone over here to hook it back up theres only two cords ive unplugged them both and plugged them back in nothing is working i dont know how to get the connection back
