hi, I needed to unplug my modem for a short time and now have no dial tone. I have tried rebooting and also removed the battery but no luck. please help, thanks.

How many lights are you seeing on your phone modem? If it appears that all lights are on and solid then the next thing to try is connecting your phone direct to the phone modem. Direction for this can be found here https://community.shaw.ca/docs/DOC-1013.

power light is solid, ds is blinking, no other light.
Please disconnect the power and battery remove the coax cable cord on both ends if possible then reconnect it. After the coax cable is connected reconnect the battery and power.
