We have a Gateway Whole Home HDPVR and portal which we bought from the lady who sold us the house. The Shaw rep would not hook it up for us when he came at the end of August. Can we get this hooked up and save on rental fees?
You should be able to.
As to ease it depends if the old owner called Shaw to release it from any account it may have been with. If so, it should be quick and simple. Just give the rep the serial number.
If not, you or Shaw will have to contact her first to do so.
I suspect they will figure something out for you no matter what.
