My Shaw remote works EXCEPT the volume control - what's up with that?
Have you tried all the different TV code numbers?
I had the same issue with my Gateway and Samsung TV but after using a different "Samsung" code number it all worked as intended.
Are you using an audio system? Or just a TV?
As mentioned above you might need to try another code for your TV, unless as kevinds surmised, you're using a receive for audio. Try visiting www.urcsupport.com/shaw, selecting your remote then entering your brand. Try the steps there to program other suggested codes into your remote to see if that works for you.
Were you able to get your remote working yet?
I tried all your suggestions ('Thanks' by the way), ... but alas none worked. So I just walked into the local Shaw office and they gave me a new Shaw remote control. Easy fix. This new one works wonderful. Thanks again for your efforts!
