RefRefer code S0a00 cable isn't working, tried resetting no change
We've actually got an article on this issue you can find here. Majority of the time this is related to the coaxial signal, so I'd recommend troubleshooting it by reseating it as explained in the article.
I Did try to reset the box, have removed and put the coaxial cable back on as well. I have 3 cable boxes in the house and its all the same, that tells me there's a problem with sign incoming signal. I tried calling this morning, left a call back #, said it would be over an hour, that was 9.5 hours ago
If it's affecting multiple boxes in the home, there might be a shared splitter that died or there is a bigger issue at hand. I'll send you a direct message to get your account info and check things on this end.
Hi Shaw, I receive this error code on most all of my "higher" channels (230, 240, 265 etc...) Only at night time. During the day I receive (clearly) all my channels. At night I cannot receive these channels I pay for.
Definitely a strange one to see only at certain times of the day. The S0A00 error message that you see is related to signal issues; however, if there's signal disturbance, it is weird to see it only during the evening. Do you have more than 1 cable box in your home, and if so, does the issue happen on all cable boxes or only a certain one?
Hi Ken Yes it is very strange, has been going on for about 1 month now. I have 2 PVR boxes in my house, the other one shows all the channels, at all times. The upstairs box only has this issue at night, around 1800...Monique
