Learn how to delete emails from your mailbox in Webmail. For each email address tied to your Shaw Account, Webmail provides 1GB (1,000 MB) of email storage. As you reach this threshold, we send out a notification that you are nearing your quota. In order to resolve this issue, you will need to delete some emails to free up storage space and to avoid not receiving incoming emails.

How to delete multiple emails
You can delete multiple emails by clicking the checkbox beside each email in your Inbox or email folder that you wish to delete emails from. Deleting emails in this manner places them in your Trash folder. To permanently delete these emails you will need to click the drop-down on the Trash folder (or right-click the Trash folder) and select Empty Trash.
In order to free up storage space in your mailbox, you will need to ensure that your email client is set up to delete message from the server. To ensure that you delete email from both your regular email and your web-based email (Webmail) you will need to properly sync your email and leverage the proper email server settings (Depending on your email client, either ActiveSync or IMAP server settings can be used to sync email). Using the POP3 email client will allow you to automatically delete emails from the server.

Windows Live Mail: There is no option in Windows Live Mail to automatically delete your emails from the server using IMAP settings. If you are using the POP3 protocol you can automatically delete emails from the server.
