One of my shaw web email accounts is getting an error saying it is no longer active, even though it has been con sisterly in use for years. The error reads as,
“HTTP ERROR 400
Problem accessing /service/preauth. Reason:
account is not active:[emailAccount]@shaw.ca

It sounds like there might be an error or a setting that needs to be updated on our end, so I'd recommend getting in touch with technical support. They should be able to get it fixed for you.

As you may have guessed this happened to me TODAY .... like the other people who asked and ask about the same problem ....

IMHO, "slamming" the only people who can fix the problem seems to be counter-productive.

True. If you login to My Shaw, you can view all your E-mail accounts. Do you see anything unusual?
Have you recently made any changes to your Shaw account, such as switching plans, adding TV channels? It's remotely-possible that some sort of "side-effect" was triggered.
