weird markings on tv

Anybody else getting these markings on their tv using a pvr on both top corners? started getting these a few days ago on all channels

Yes, we’ve been getting that as well. No idea what it is.

Shaw Tech Support was helpful. Here’s the solution: Disconnect the cable and the power. Wait a few minutes. Reconnect and wait for the par to complete rebooting.

I'm glad I'm not the only one who was getting that stuff... I wonder what caused it... anyways, doing what you said worked... that stuff is gone

Tried this solution. It didn’t work

What I did was to disconnect my surge bar and cable to the pvr, which turned everything off... waited about 10 minutes, plugged the cable back in and then plugged my surge bar in...turned the pvr on, let it do it's thing and those markings were gone

Correction! We now tried it with the cable box (not the tv - duh - ) and it did work.
